"Our cadets had a fantastic time," said senior member Keri Anderson, who helped set up the squadron’s recruiting table.

"They gained valuable skills in communication, teamwork, and leadership, all while showcasing the professionalism and dedication that CAP instills in its members.

"It was truly a rewarding experience for everyone involved,” Anderson said.

Cadets said they most enjoyed interacting with prospective members.

"I was surprised at how many people approached us as wanted to know more about CAP," said Cadet Airman 1st Class Kelly Quinlan. "

"It was so cool to explain the opportunities, like flying, to the kids we spoke with.

“They had a ton of questions, and it was great to tell my story about my orientation flight."

Capt. Raymond Dalinski

Capt. Raymond Dalinsky, the squadron’s commander, emphasized the importance of partnerships with organizations such as the Museum of Aviation and within the community.

"Events like Family Aviation Day provide us with the opportunity to strengthen our ties with the community and showcase the capabilities of Civil Air Patrol," Dalinsky said.

"By working together, we can inspire future generations to pursue careers in aviation and aerospace while also promoting the values of service and leadership."

In addition to highlighting opportunities offered by Civil Air Patrol, the squadron members also demonstrated the use of emergency services equipment.
