In all, 32 members of the Winchester Composite Squadron were on board, along with five from the Leesburg Composite Squadron. Along for the ride were 10 Junior ROTC cadets from Berkeley County Berkeley Schools in West Virginia.

Before takeoff, members of the 167th discussed their careers and their motivations for joining the Air National Guard.

Cadets were permVAleesburg1itted to walk around the aircraft. They also briefly sat in the cockpit and chatted with the pilots during the flight. A select few were in the cockpit for takeoff and landing.

"The only negative thing I have to say is,” said Junior ROTC Cadet Airman Basic Nathanne Morcelo, “I wish the flight could have been longer!”
