Registration is underway for Civil Air Patrol’s Aerospace Connections in Education (ACE) Program, an interactive STEM program for kindergarten-through-sixth-grade educator members and CAP volunteers working with those grade levels.
ACE offers:
Aerospace-themed lessons in academics, character education, and physical fitness.
Free, grade-specific manipulatives (like sixth-grade rocket footballs) for every participant.
Downloadable curriculum guides in eServices.
Find details and curriculum highlights on the ACE page.
ACE Plus ProgramFifth- through eighth-grade educators in the ACE Program can have their classroom “adopted” by a local CAP squadron. Adult members and cadets will visit to co-teach ACE and other aerospace/STEM modules.
Learn how to connect with a squadron on the ACE Plus page.
STEM Kit ProgramAfter a four-month pause, Aerospace Education has reopened applications for STEM Kits. These interactive kits bring aviation, space, and cyber directly into the classroom.
Applications submitted in August by aerospace education officers, aerospace education members, and commanders will be reviewed in September.
Once an application has been approved, please allow six to eight weeks for a kit to arrive.
Explore available kits and the application process on the STEM Kit page.
