Sixteen cadets in the New Jersey Wing’s Twin Pine Composite Squadron earned their Civil Air Patrol Model Rocketry badge Dec. 1 after studying rocket history and logistics and then applying their lessons in the field with successful launches.

Working under the direction of the squadron’s aerospace education officer, Mary Lancellotti, the cadets completed the rocketry program’s three phases
