The Colorado Wing accounted for the first- and third-place finishers in the Rocky Mountain Region Cadet Competition, with an Idaho Wing entry placing second.

The Valkyrie Cadet Squadron team took first place, followed by the Nampa Composite Squadron entry and the Colorado Springs Cadet Squadron team. 

The Valkyrie Cadet Squadron team consisted of:

The Valkyrie team captured first in seven categories — Indoor Drill, Outdoor Drill, Standard Drill, Written Exam, Physical Training, Team Leadership Problem, and Unmanned Aircraft System — and tied for first in an eighth, Inspection. The team also came in second in Extemporaneous Speech.

The team placed second in Indoor Drill, Written Exam, Physical Training, and Team Leadership Problem, with a third-place performance in Inspection.

Rounding out the field of competitors were the Montana Wing’s Gallatin Composite Squadron and the Idaho Wing’s Joe Engle Composite Squadron

The Gallatin cadets tied for first in Inspection and finished third in Team Leadership Problem, Extemporaneous Speech and UAS.

The Engle team finished second in Outdoor Drill and UAS.
